My Opinion About HomemadeVids:
I always hear about real couples having real sex and then selling them of to sites like HomemadeVids, but sometimes I end up finding the movies to be a tad bit staged. I suppose this makes sense, because if I were going to sell off my videos, then I'd damn well want to make sure that I looked good and had the performance of my life. Of course, this is me and not the couples on this site.
When I first get to the members' area, I am barraged with instructions about downloading a k-lite codec to view the films. Then I'm further told how to run the videos and given some troubleshooting instructions. This is all well and fine, but it makes me raise an eyebrow of curiosity: am I going to have that much difficulty viewing the films?
There are weekly updates and monthly contests for those who want to submit their own personal videos. The top prize is $1000 USD, which isn't too bad if you're an exhibitionist. If, on the other hand, you prefer the anonymity of being a voyeur, then you're in luck because there are four categories of videos including cams, homemade, exhibitionism and voyeur. In total, you'll discover 1,352 videos.
The home movies interested me the most, because, judging from the thumbnails, they looked like they were the best-lit films. The newest film is a 320x240 .mpg, but I haven't any idea what the bitrate may have been. It's five-minutes long and begins with an empty living room. The couple enters the space, although you can't see their faces. Final Verdict:
I wasn't expecting great quality on a site that takes movies from members, and I obviously didn't get it, but there wasn't much to be disappointed by since my expectations weren't set to a high standard. The films are way too short, and quite frankly I hardly saw the point of them. I'm as much a voyeur as the next person, but God, give me someone who at least gets off! HomemadeVids isn't more than an okayish site, although with tons of content.
